BUFFALO, N.Y. — Brett Young’s concert in Buffalo has been canceled due to illness, officials say.

He was scheduled to perform Thursday at the Outer Harbor Live at Terminal B.

Officials note that refunds for tickets will be automatically processed, and “apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate fans' understanding.”

In a statement, Brett Young expressed his displeasure in having to cancel.

“Anyone that knows me knows that I hate to cancel or reschedule shows. That said, I have been fighting to get my voice back after this cold and it isn’t there yet. I’m so disappointed but I will not be able to play Thursday night’s show in Buffalo,” he said.

“We are taking this day-to-day and will let you know immediately where there is an update. I’m so sorry and I hope to see you very soon.”

There is no word if the concert will be rescheduled for another date.
