Good news for all the home makeover fans out there!
Not only is Trading Spaces making its grand return to TLC after a 10-year hiatus, its beloved host Paige Davis is back, too.
"I'm so excited, because you probably already heard the news that TLC is bringing Trading Spaces back, but guess what else? I also am coming back!" Davis exclaimed in a video announcement on Wednesday. "I will be hosting Trading Spaces again. I am back at TLC, back home back where I belong, and I am so thrilled."
Each episode of the popular home makeover series, which aired on TLC from 2000 to 2008, featured two sets of neighbors who received the challenge of making over a room in the other's house with the help of a home decorator and set budget.
Davis became the host of Trading Spaces in 2001, replacing Alex McLeod, and left in 2005 when the show pursued a host-less format. She returned to host in 2008. During and since her time on the TLC series, Davis has appeared in numerous Broadway shows including Chicago, Boeing-Boeing and Sweet Charity.
"I've had a great time since Trading Spaces," Davis continued in the clip. "I've been doing theater, I've been doing dance, I've been on and off Broadway I've been living in Manhattan with my adorable little dog, Georgie. I'm shooting this video here in my home, and I cannot wait to come to your homes."
Trading Spaces will be filming in Los Angeles, Atlanta and Baltimore and is set to premiere in 2018.
