WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. — The team behind Williamsville’s popular Giancarlo’s Steakhouse & Pizzeria are launching a new concept in the same plaza that they hope to take nationwide.

Ana Blu Mediterranean Kitchen will offer a fusion of Greek and Italian cuisine, including salads, rice bowls, gyro, rotisserie chicken, pizza and desserts like frozen Greek yogurt. While Giancarlo’s is geared toward sit-down dinners and events, Ana Blu will offer counter service for lunch and dinner plus takeout and catering.

“It won’t be the fine dining service of Giancarlo’s, but fast elegant,” said Anthony Ragusa, managing partner, who owns the business in partnership with his sister Gabriela and their father, Tony. “It’ll be a very nice, upscale and inviting Mediterranean setting.”
