BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Maria Love Charity Ball brings together both middle and high school students for a dance in support of children and family with medical needs.
It is the longest running ball in the United States and celebrates its 120th year of helping families in need through the Maria Love Convalescent Fund.
The Charity Ball is being held at Buffalo RiverWorks on Saturday, November 4 for the semi-formal event.
Board President of the Maria Love Fund Julie Gicewicz explains how important and necessary it is to help those community members who are in need.
“By attending the event, kids can have a fun evening out with friends knowing that they are making a difference in their hometown." Gicewicz said.
Middle school grades 5-8 can enjoy the dance from 5:00pm until 7:00pm and high schoolers grades 9-12 will be from 8:00pm until 10:00pm.
The dance will include snacks, a selfie booth and music by DJ Yes and Dj Milk.
Parents and guardians will not be allowed in the dance but are welcome to enjoy the dining area at Buffalo RiverWorks.
