BUFFALO, N.Y. — 2 On Your Side’s Rob Hackford has been promoted to morning anchor for WGRZ’s Weekend Daybreak newscasts.
“Rob is a solid journalist and lives the 2 On Your Side Brand in all aspects of his reporting,” said WGRZ President & General Manager Mark Manders. “We are so happy to have him take over the number one rated weekend morning newscast. He has a positive and collaborative newsroom presence and will no doubt be successful in this well-deserved opportunity.”

Hackford went to the University of Buffalo and graduated from SUNY Oswego. He attended high school in Orchard Park and loves telling human-focused stories about his hometown.
