BUFFALO, N.Y. — The investigation is continuing to take place after a fatal crash between a vehicle and NFTA-Metro bus.
The crash happened just before 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 23 near Fillmore and Kensington Avenues.
According to the NFTA, a Volvo s80 was driving north on Fillmore, when the driver spun into oncoming traffic, hitting the bus.
The driver of the Volvo, identified Thursday by the NFTA as 28-year-old Damarian Fowler, died from his injuries.
Four people on the bus, including the bus driver and a minor, were transported to nearby hospitals to be treated for their injuries.
