BUFFALO, N.Y. — Spring is starting, astronomically, even though it feels like winter.

The Spring Equinox is at 11:06 pm ET late Tuesday evening.  And even though temperatures are running 10 degrees below average for much of this week, the longer range forecast shows that after this latest wave of colder air and scattered snow showers, milder temperatures will be here once again.

Looking at the Seasonal Temperature Outlook and the Seasonal Precipitation Outlook from the National Weather Service Climate Prediction Center, temperatures will be warming plenty.  The Seasonal Temperature Outlook for April, May and into June shows at or above average temperatures overall. The Seasonal Precipitation Outlook is looking near normal.

A sneak peak at the Summer months show the Seasonal Temperature Outlook could be at or above average, and the Seasonal Precipitation Outlook is above average.
