ROCHESTER, N.Y. — No injuries were reported after a plane skid off the runway shortly after landing on Thursday afternoon in Rochester.
American Airlines Flight 5811 had landed around 4 p.m. Thursday at Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport when it veered into the grass, while attempting to turn onto a taxiway.

The E-145 Embraer Regional Jet flew into Rochester from Philadelphia with 50 passengers and three crew members. No injuries were reported, and a bus transported the people on board to the terminal.
An investigation into the cause of the incident is underway.
