BUFFALO, N.Y. — Prepare for dangerous wind chills the rest of this long weekend in Western New York.
An arctic blast of very cold air and wind chills Sunday night into Monday for our entire area. Expect wind chills down to -35 for some areas.
A Wind Chill Warning continues until 7pm Monday for southern Erie, Wyoming, Cattaraugus and Allegany counties, and for N. PA. Wind chills could drop down to -30 to -35.
A Wind Chill Advisory continues until 7pm Monday for northern Erie, Niagara and Orleans through Monday afternoon. Wind chills could drop down to -15 to -25.

Winds gusting up to 35 miles an hour will produce bitter cold wind chills and make for dangerous driving conditions and poor visibility due to blowing snow.
The conditions can cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 15 minutes.
Also lake effect snow S/SE of the lakes will add a few more inches of snow into Monday morning.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Niagara and Orleans counties until 11am Monday. 2 to 4 inches of lake effect snow expected there, as a cold northwest wind sets up.
Less than an inch of snow expected elsewhere from the lake effect snow.
