DEPEW, N.Y. β On Wednesday, Tops Friendly Markets in Depew held a ribbon cutting for one of its largest store renovations.
Totaling almost $3 million, the remodel at the Tops at 5175 Broadway in Depew is the 45th grand reopening for the grocery store chain.
During the ceremony, Tops presented nearly a dozen local community non-profits with donation to help local first responders, schools, food pantries, and veteran organizations.
"I'm extremely proud. I'm so grateful to be a part of this remodel and just bring back to this community has just been phenomenal," Tops Store Manager Chris Hoffman said. "This community is so welcoming and just so wonderful to be a part of."
The remodel includes the following enhancements to the store:
- A new full service Starbucks Cafe in store with ability to use mobile ordering on the Starbucks app
- A pharmacy that has a new, private waiting area and will provide many services such as complex specialty prescriptions, immunizations, Department of Motor Vehicle vision tests, and the new Covid 19 booster
