TOWN OF TONAWANDA, NY - An explosion sparked a fire at Praxair Inc. in the Town of Tonawanda.
Town of Tonawanda Police say there was an explosion in Praxair's Research and Development wing around midnight.
The explosion started a fire with heavy smoke and flames in the building. Firefighters were able to knock down the fire in about an hour.
Investigators are still at the scene trying to determine a cause. No one was hurt. Damages are estimated at $250,000 dollars.
