LOCKPORT, N.Y. — A Lockport man pleaded guilty before a judge on Friday to causing the death of a bicyclist by shooting the victim with an airsoft gun.
Kenneth James, 43, plead guilty to one count of manslaughter in the second degree.
Investigators say James had recklessly caused the death of 38-year-old Joseph Dash.
Dash the victim, had been riding his bike on Broadway near Krettner Street in the City of Buffalo on August 14, 2023 when James fired an airsoft gun at his chest. Dash died as a result of the pellet hitting him in the chest.
James could face maximum of 15-years in prison when he is sentenced in June. A bail is currently set at $250,000 for his release.
