NYC restaurateur has big plans for vacant lots on Clinton St. in Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A New York City businesswoman plans to turn a cluster of vacant properties on Clinton Street in Buffalo into a mixed-use development with a blend of retail and commercial space.

Beatrice Ajaero, a restaurateur who founded Nneji, a West African restaurant in Queens, plans to construct eight buildings on 14 non-contiguous parcels centered around the 800 block of Clinton Street.

The "Kindred on Clinton" project would include some multi-family residential buildings, some fully commercial structures and some storefronts with apartments.
