TONAWANDA, N.Y. — Lornamead, a personal care company, will be expanding its Tonawanda facility.

Lornamead, along with Uniland Development, will add 22,000 square feet to their current location at 175 Cooper Avenue.

When completed, the 88,000 sq. ft. facility will support Lornamead's growing oral care production and distribution. They produce and distribute products under their own label as well as other retailers.  Their products include: toothpaste, tooth whitening gels and oral pain relief treatments.

The company says they've had double digit growth over the past three years.

“We look forward to continuing to strengthen our Tonawanda operations with Uniland as we build out an enhanced in-house production facility to support growing demand for our oral care business,” said Randy Sloan, President, Lornamead. “Uniland has been a strong partner with us since 1996 and we are working with them to expand our oral care footprint in Western New York.”

“Lornamead is a leader in their sector and we look forward to supporting their continued momentum,” said Michael Montante, CEO, Uniland Development Company. “Based on our proximity to Canada and the Great Lakes gateway, Buffalo’s industrial sector is strong and we are continuing to empower clients in the manufacturing, warehousing and distribution arena.”

Lornamead has been at the Interstate Commerce Centre for 25 years.
