International quick-serve restaurant looks to Buffalo for expansion

Founded in 1983 in New York City, the company has more than 150 locations, mostly in Canada and several dozen more in the United Arab Emirates and China.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Another international quick-serve restaurant is looking at the Buffalo market for expansion.

New York Fries is actively recruiting franchisees to bring the concept to malls in Western New York, which could lead to sites at the Walden Galleria and the Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls.

In addition to fresh-cut French fries, the franchise offers gourmet loaded fries, poutine and all-beef hot dogs.
