BLASDELL, N.Y. — Taylor Swift will soon be turning 34, and to celebrate the pop icon, Ten Lives Club is holding a special cat adoption promotion.
From now until Swift's birthday, which is Wednesday, Dec. 13, new kittens taken in will be named after the cat-lover's songs. In addition, $34 will be discounted from the adoption price in recognition of Swift's 34th birthday.
"This is the nonprofit’s birthday present to Taylor Swift for her 34th birthday," the cat adoption group said in a statement, announcing the promotion.
People are encouraged to visit the Ten Lives Club Facebook page, where posts will tag Taylor Swift, along with the hashtags #swiftykittens and #happybirthdaytaytay.
