BUFFALO, N.Y. — People from across Western New York tried their hand at curling Sunday at the Buffalo Curling Club.
The club represents Buffalo's only dedicated curling facility. It's tucked inside the old Buffalo China factory.
Earlier in the year, the Buffalo Curling Club hosted Olympic gold medalist John Shuster, who played games and took pictures during an open house event.
The previous Buffalo Curling Club had been shut down for eight years, after a 50-year run that dated to 1960. A wave of new and returning members brought new stories of a rich Buffalo curling history.
