BUFFALO, N.Y. — Another new business is bringing life into one of Buffalo's historic industrial neighborhoods. Wonder Coffeehouse now sits on the same lot as Buffalo RiverWorks on Ganson Street, among the grain elevators, rail tracks and shipping containers.
Owners Kate and Joe Vacanti are still completing the final touches on the renovations of the old building, which could have met a fate of demolition if they didn't step in to open their business.
Aside from the coffee selections, the shop offers a rotating menu of "little wonders," or mini, handheld waffles. The item was inspired by the neighboring grain elevators.
Wonder Coffeehouse is open daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 323 Ganson Street.
