The two forwards join Buffalo for Saturday night's game in New Jersey.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Two of the Buffalo Sabres' top prospects are getting the call up to the NHL.

Buffalo recalled forwards Jiri Kulich and Isak Rosen from the AHL affiliate Rochester Americans on Saturday. The move comes with forwards Zemgus Girgensons going on injured reserve with a lower body injury and Jordan Greenway out for Saturday's game in New Jersey due to personal reasons.

Kulich has 63 points in 78 total AHL games, and has also represented the Czech Republic at the last two IIHF World Junior Championships, playing in 14 games and recording 17 points.

Rosen was the Sabres' first round pick in 2021, with Buffalo drafting him 14th overall. Last season, the Solna, Sweden native registered 37 points (14 goals, 23 assists) in 66 games as Rosen and Kulich helped lead the Amerks to the Eastern Conference finals in the Calder Cup playoffs.
