WNYers win $1.4 million on NBC's "The Wall"

A father-daughter team from Angelica in Allegany County won $1,415,098 on Monday night's episode of "The Wall."

Kirk and Brooke Spangler of Allegany County hit it big on Monday night's episode of NBC's "The Wall."

The duo won $1,415,098 million, which is now the record amount of money paid out by the show.

Both are originally from Angelica, NY. Kirk is the associate director of facilities services at SUNY Geneseo and currently lives in Belfast.

His daughter, Brooke works as a pharmacist in Virginia and recently graduated from college.

Brooke applied to be on the show to thank her dad, a single father, for sacrificing so much while raising her and her sister.

Brooke says her father worked two jobs to help keep the family afloat. He even started refereeing their youth sports teams just so he could spend more time with them.
