COLDEN, N.Y. -- Skiers have two more reasons to rejoice as Kissing Bridge and HoliMont opened Friday.
This is KB's 56th season of skiing and snowboarding. Right now, the resort's central area is good to go with two lifts and four trails. Additional slopes will be opened as snowmaking and weather conditions allow.
HoliMont is also returning for its 56th season. It's open to the public Monday-Friday. The 'Mont' is using 3D GPS technology to let groomers know how deep the snow is in each location, with the goal to have an even and consistent layer of snow and base on every slope.
