CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — A Cheektowaga home is a total loss following a garage fire Saturday night.
The Bellevue Volunteer Fire Company responded to the call around 9 p.m. to a house on Deer Trail. Firefighters say the attached garage was fully engulfed, and the fire eventually spread to the house.
No one was injured in the fire.
Firefighters say the fire took about a an hour and a half to extinguish because the windy conditions played a factor.
The American Red Cross is assisting members of the household.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
