JAMESTOWN, NY-Jamestown Police say a body pulled from the Chadakoin River Tuesday afternoon is believed to be that of a missing Chautauqua County man.
Sean Carpenter went missing April 11. He was last seen walking down Pine Street in Jamestown.
The discovery was made shortly before 2 p.m. by a city employee.
The body was taken to the Erie County Medical Center where an autopsy is set to be performed Wednesday morning.
