BUFFALO, N.Y. — A 26-year-old man is accused of seriously injuring a 7-month-old boy and his ex-girlfriend is facing charges for allowing her son in his care.
Frank Redd has been charged him with endangering the welfare of a child, second-degree assault and reckless assault. The infant is at Oishei Children's Hospital listed in critical condition with brain injuries.
The infant's mother, 26-year-old Jasmine Mendez, and has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
The incident remains under investigation.
